.htaccess archived on AskApache.com

AskApache searchAn old copy of my .htaccess for AnimorphsfanForum.com seems to have been archived on AskApache.com.

I hope that it is helping some people.

Update : Following this post, the .htaccess was removed from the site. You can still search for it using Google, though.

The AskApache.com admin has kindly informed us that the file was mistakenly not moved over during a host switch. It has been restored now.

  1. It must’ve not been transferred over when I switched hosts. I had around 10 htaccess files like yours from Google, I’ll go find it and put it back up… thanks!

      1. Ok you are good to go!

The problem was that I moved everything from the z subdomain to the static subdomain, in order to follow RFC recommendations, and I didn’t add the neccessary htaccess rewrite to redirect.. that looks like this btw.

        RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^z\.askapache\.com$ [NC]
        RewriteRule .* http://static.askapache.com%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]
